This walk was around Hatfield Peverel
St Andrew's church
The wall of remembrance
Back in the village there were lots of very pretty gardens. This was my favourite with the wheelbarrow, pergola and a stunning huge lily.
After a nice 4½ mile walk we had all worked up an appetite.
I had gammon, egg and chips, it was delicious.

What is gammon?
ReplyDeleteIt's cured pork, nice thick slices, like a steak.
DeleteI love that you have walking groups that go to different places. I like my walks -- but after awhile, they get pretty much the same!
ReplyDeleteThat's the beauty of a group, people living in different areas choose walks near them. Eventually we will do the same ones but not for many months 😊
DeleteLooks like a nice walk indeed.
ReplyDeleteAnd good weather is a bonus :-)
