Hyde Hall

My WI group recently had a day out at Hyde Hall, an RHS garden centre.

The gardens are beautiful

We moved some tables into the shade to eat our lunch

Then strolled around

and finished at the shop

I looked at jewellery and scarves but decided I have enough of both!

How cute is this. I miss buying cute things for my grandson, he's 20 now!

  1. I loved visiting Hyde Hall when I lived in Billericay.

    1. I only go a couple of times a year as it's quite expensive but when I go with my WI group they pay!

  2. The colours are spectacular - I love the border just in front of the grey walls of the house - they compliment each other beautifully.

  3. Lovely day out.
Having little ones around is a great excuse for indulging one's inner child!

  8. Polly, what a great outing and what lovely scenics you captures. It also looks like the weather cooperated beautifully for you and your group. The gardens were lovely. Looking at things is much less costly than buying and often just as fulfilling.

    1. Hello Beatrice, we were so lucky with the weather. It is nice just looking but today I was out for lunch with a friend, afterwards we just browsed around a few shops and I bought a skirt - an impulse buy!

  9. That is so cute! 20 is still a babe though, so I get that. Heck, at any age that's a cute thing!

  10. Wow, what a beautiful place! All of your pictures are so gorgeous - they could be in a calendar. The dollhouse is so cute - and I think everyone should have a dollhouse, young or old!

  11. It sounds like you had a lovely day out at Hyde Hall! The gardens must have been a real treat, and it's great that you got to enjoy lunch in the shade. It’s always nice to end a visit with a bit of shopping, even if you decided you have enough jewelry and scarves. The little things like that cute item must bring back some sweet memories of shopping for your grandson. Thanks for sharing your day!
