Polly, what a great outing and what lovely scenics you captures. It also looks like the weather cooperated beautifully for you and your group. The gardens were lovely. Looking at things is much less costly than buying and often just as fulfilling.
Hello Beatrice, we were so lucky with the weather. It is nice just looking but today I was out for lunch with a friend, afterwards we just browsed around a few shops and I bought a skirt - an impulse buy!
Wow, what a beautiful place! All of your pictures are so gorgeous - they could be in a calendar. The dollhouse is so cute - and I think everyone should have a dollhouse, young or old!
It sounds like you had a lovely day out at Hyde Hall! The gardens must have been a real treat, and it's great that you got to enjoy lunch in the shade. It’s always nice to end a visit with a bit of shopping, even if you decided you have enough jewelry and scarves. The little things like that cute item must bring back some sweet memories of shopping for your grandson. Thanks for sharing your day!

I loved visiting Hyde Hall when I lived in Billericay.
ReplyDeleteI only go a couple of times a year as it's quite expensive but when I go with my WI group they pay!
DeleteGorgeous! What a nice day out!
ReplyDeleteI do like a nice day out.
DeleteThe colours are spectacular - I love the border just in front of the grey walls of the house - they compliment each other beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThe other side was lovely too.
DeleteLovely day out.
ReplyDeleteHaving little ones around is a great excuse for indulging one's inner child!
It is, I do miss those days.
DeleteYou do visit some lovely places!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad there are lots of places to visit.
DeleteGorgeous..And I am so happy with myself when I think to myself..I have enough of that;)
ReplyDeleteI have enough of most things now!
DeleteIf I lived in England I'd want to join your WI group --- you do the best things!
ReplyDeleteIt's not for everybody, but I love being a member.
DeleteAww...such a beautiful visit. And thanks for sharing these lovely photos.
