Misbehaving

My youngest daughter sent me this birthday card a few years ago, can't think why!
I was surprised to see the author of the quote was Orson Welles,
at first glance I thought it was Oscar Wilde.

This little girl has got the look spot on!

  1. You're right, it DOES sound more like something Oscar Wilde would have said!

  3. I love these sort of cards with the black and white photos and the snark. So funny!

  4. I can see why you thought that was Wilde -- that surprises me, too. It's a darling card!

  5. She does have that look about her. Referring to your other posts, what a magnificent moustache!
Things in Jars sounds intriguing. I might see if I can order it from the library to try it out.

  6. Yes, she looks as if she's about to do something a bit mischievous - like cutting herself a giant slice of cake or blurting out that mummy didn't make the cake, it comes from M&S.

  7. That was a wonderful quote and I would never have suspected that Orson Welles said it. it definitely fit the card.

  8. It looks like she is saying, "it's my birthday and I'll do what I want." haha
