  6. Is that a Poppy? Our state flower is the California Poppy. It's a vibrant orange and grows wild along the edges of the countryside and in fields in different areas. They are so pretty.

    1. Hi Sheri, yes it is a poppy, and most of ours grow in rough soil. They look lovely in great swathes.
