Felons is an industrial brewery and restaurant
The brewery takes its name from the true tale of four felons, who, in 1823, on their way to Illawarra from Sydney were blown off course and found themselves lost at sea and ended up shipwrecked on Moreton Island.
The pigeons dive in as soon as people leave!
oOo
Another day, elsewhere, a short walk across the Neville Bonner bridge takes you to the casino building, the round one in the middle.
We didn't want to go to the casino,
just up to the sky deck for the views and cocktails.
This was scary. A glass floor above the freeway below. I knew the floor was safe but I had to hold onto a post before stepping out onto it!
That's my foot on the right.
My daughter and S had margaritas
I'm not good with lunchtime alcohol so I had a very nice coffee 😊
We decided against the overpriced restaurants and opted instead for a very nice Vietnamese restaurant in the city. Although we did agree that my daughter and S should treat themselves to a meal here for a special occasion.

Love from Titti
Thank you Titti. Happy Easter to you.
DeleteWonderful places to visit. The glass floor would be challenging for balance, I think.
ReplyDeleteYou know it's safe, but the mind plays tricks because of what you see!
DeleteI get the heebie jeebies just looking at the PHOTO of the glass floor. Almost makes me dizzy! Love the brewery -- and those margaritas look incredible!
ReplyDeleteI knew it was safe but my brain was telling me otherwise!!
DeleteThose glass floors in high places freak me out! But I stood on the glass floor at the top of the CN Tower in Toronto anyway. So brave, LOL! Love the photo of your foot!
ReplyDeleteI have a bit of ezcema on that foot now, I wonder if it was the anxiety!!
DeleteAnother lovely outing! Such a great place too. The pigeons are the same everywhere! Glad you got a photo of the feathered ones!
ReplyDeleteThank you Marie
DeleteThe glass floor looks terrifying to me! Ha! Ha! The pigeons look like they're enjoying their meal!
ReplyDeleteThey always find something!
DeleteGreat blog
ReplyDeleteThank you Rajani
DeleteWhat a great view from the top, Polly, and I would also have been nervous about the glass floor. We walked across one years ago and now I can't recall eactly where it was located, I believe it was in Canada.
ReplyDeleteIn many countries I think there are glass walkways spanning a few metres, or longer. I don't think I could walk on one of those!
