I've been home for just over a week. I had good flights, even the 14 hour one passed very well - I slept for a few hours, watched 3 films, read my book, did some puzzles, and of course eating.
oOo
The last of my holiday photos. We love markets, and the West End market is a big one. Lots of food stalls and every other kind of stall you could imagine.
Books
Cheese
mushrooms
plants
salami
sunglasses, or as they call them in Oz, and I now call them - sunnies
fruit & veg
delicious breads and pastries
That is a splendid market - you can't ask for the wrong thing! Lovely memories of time spent with your daughter, for both of you.
ReplyDeleteI love doing my blog, it's like a visual photo album with so many wonderful memories.
DeleteBeautiful market. Great memories of time with your young woman!
ReplyDeleteI still think of my daughters as my little girls!
DeleteI'm glad your flight was good -- and productive, too! That market looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed (and pleased) at how good the flights were.
DeleteMarkets are always such a treasure trove of interesting finds, and it’s lovely that you got to spend quality time with your daughter. Hopefully, you'll get to reunite soon. Take care and enjoy the memories! www.melodyjacob.com
ReplyDeleteThank you Melody
DeleteWhat fun it would be to browse in that market!
ReplyDeleteIt was Debra. But it took me ages to decide what to eat, there was so much choice!!
DeleteGlad you had such a lovely time!
ReplyDeleteThank you Monique
DeleteMushrooms? really?
ReplyDeleteI know, I had to look twice to confirm!
DeleteLooks like fun!
ReplyDeleteHello Troy, it's good to hear from you. Thank you for your comment.
DeleteBack from Australia to this wet and cold... but the gardens love it.. Sounds like you had a super time.
ReplyDeleteIt hasn't been too bad since I returned, mild days but chilly once the sun has gone.
DeleteI like strolling around a local market. The Enoki mushroom look as twice large as ours. The trip with your daughter must have been so special. I enjoyed travelling around Germany with my daughter, just two of us, long time ago.
ReplyDeleteI'd never seen them before.
DeleteI like to eat mushrooms. Happy holiday to you.
ReplyDeleteThank you RC, the same to you.
DeleteWow - what a great variety at that market! The mushroom table is veery impressive!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought Michelle, I know there are lots of varieties but some of those were new to me!
