Friends, Shopping And Eating

Our cream tea went very well except, like last time with my friends, we had to abandon eating outside under the gazebo - last time it was chilly and overcast, yesterday was too hot!!

We've also enjoyed going out for breakfast. It's been popular in Australia for years, and is catching on here in the UK now. Soon after taking this photo the outside area was full.

Time spent visiting friends, more retail therapy, and way toooooo much eating and drinking!

Today we're relaxing and trying to keep cool.

∼ Be safe and well∼

    1. It's something we only used to do now and again, but it's a regular weekly thing now.

  4. I'm so glad your cream tea went well -- except for the weather! I'd love dining out for breakfast!

  6. That cake looks totally delicious. Going out for breakfast is quite a thing in Belfast. When Jenny and I go out for a coffee, we often see people tucking into a hearty breakfast.

  7. I love eating breakfast out (well I never eat breakfast at home!) but tend to do it more in the States than here in the UK. That strawberry cake looks amazing!

    1. When I came back from Oz in April I went out for breakfast once a week, and we've done it while my daughter was here. I need to keep the momentum going 😊
