Thanks Nick. There are footpaths through farm fields. This walk goes round the edges of fields, not designated footpaths but the farmers are very tolerant and no-one takes liberties.
How lovely, nothing beats a crisp winter walk, wellies on, rosy cheeks and all that fresh air. We have had terrible pollution here in Bangkok, the British fresh air is soooooooo under-rated! Thank you so much for joining me at my new WP blog, so lovely to see you there. Wren x
When it's wet and muddy I have to hose the dogs' feet before letting them indoors, so by the time that's done it's bliss to walk into the warm kitchen :-)
Hello Polly,
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures... what a wonderful way to start the day. I hope it will be a great one.
Big hug
Giac
Thank you Giac. Sometimes I have to make myself go out but I'm always glad when I do. We don't go out in the rain though :-) x
DeleteThe shadows make for a very dramatic photo. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteThank you mama x
DeleteBeautiful pictures of light and shadow. I think your blog title is a hoot!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sue :-)
DeleteGreat pictures. Presumably there's a footpath, or is that some kind of open land?
ReplyDeleteThanks Nick. There are footpaths through farm fields. This walk goes round the edges of fields, not designated footpaths but the farmers are very tolerant and no-one takes liberties.
DeleteOh come on Polly, how could any walk be boring with those two absolutely delightful walking companions.. I'm still smiling about last post 😀
ReplyDeleteha, ha, yes you're right Grace, except when we meet the occasional dog that Rufus doesn't get on with and he barks a lot! :-)
DeleteNot boring at all, beautiful and calming...
ReplyDeleteYour February looks like our April. We have now 80 cm of snow and counting. :)
Have a great week! xx
Thank you Sara. oooh I'm glad we don't get that much snow here :-)
DeleteAlways good to get out for a walk no matter how long or short it might be.
ReplyDeleteIt's an effort some mornings when it's cold and windy, but I'm always glad I did when I get back.
DeleteI love your walk. It will be awhile before any walk I take looks like that one, so if you hear a wee bit of envy in my words -- you're right!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I would manage if we had a lot of snow, I suppose I would just get used to it :-) x
DeleteAhh!! lovely sunny morning..
ReplyDeleteWe've had a few, it's so much better when the sun shines.

Hello Wren. I'm not a cold weather person but when I'm wrapped up in the right gear I actually like it!
DeleteCould smell it, Polly! Nice cup of tea on return...
ReplyDeleteI have breakfast with coffee when I return, I look forward to it so much!
DeleteAs others have said - nothing beats a crisp winter walk, except perhaps getting home into the warm again.
ReplyDeleteWhen it's wet and muddy I have to hose the dogs' feet before letting them indoors, so by the time that's done it's bliss to walk into the warm kitchen :-)
DeleteA lovely time to be out walking Polly
ReplyDeleteIf the sun is shining it's the best time of day :-)
DeleteWonderful sunshine! Love the shadows.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lois.
DeleteAny walk is good, Polly, no matter how long. Especially on a sunny day like this! xo
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Nancy, just getting out in the fresh air sets me up for the day, and sunshine is an added bonus at this time of year x
