We have a new bean bag, it replaces one that poor little Buster had an accident on.
It happened during a car journey, I won't go into details, suffice to say it was most unpleasant.
We have had some lovely frosty, pretty mornings.
The other morning when we were on our way back from our walk Buster wouldn't walk over the bridge, it was sparkly with frost but SL didn't think that was the problem because he had walked over it on the way out. She went back to have a closer look and there in the middle of the bridge was a leaf, yes dear reader a brown frosty leaf, SL moved the leaf and Buster walked over the bridge. He is such a wus, cute but a wus. One very good thing about frosty mornings is that we don't get dirty paws and legs so we don't have to be hosed down before going into the house :-)
Proper frost! And not having to be hosed down is a definite benefit.
ReplyDeleteHello Jessica, yes I know what you mean, it was proper frost, crisp and pretty.
DeleteSilly Buster but what beautiful, beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos, frost certainly makes a great picture. I did laugh about Buster...
ReplyDeleteThank you mama. Buster is a constant source of entertainment, he won't walk over the hoover flex, he won't walk past the footstool, if he wants to get on the sofa in the den and someone has left a book on it he will bark for someone to remove it!
DeleteFantastic "frosty"pictures, Polly. A beautiful series. I love those beautiful mornings with a bit of frost. Here in the Netherlands the frost is over now. We get our regular winter weather back: rain and wind. Too bad. Have a great weekend. Greetings, Joke
ReplyDeleteThank you Joke. We have milder but damp weather again today. Best wishes for your weekend too.
DeleteBuster's new bed is a pretty blue. Your frosty photos could have been taken here about 6 weeks ago. Now it's all buried under huge amounts of snow. We keep telling ourselves that spring will be all the sweeter this year. xo
ReplyDeleteHello Nancy, the colour suits him! We have milder weather now, but that means rain as well :-( xo
DeleteLovely shots of the frost. It's been colder in south-east England than at t'other end of the country for a change! I need my winter to make a statement...but not too much of a statement.
ReplyDeleteIt is unusual for us lot to have colder weather than you lot! I can barely cope, I do wrap up well when I go out though :-)
DeleteLove Buster's new bed Polly. I adore the cold weather and your photographs are stunning. Debbie xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Debbie. I don't mind cold weather when its frosty cold and I'm well wrapped up :-)
DeleteYour frosty photos are just stunning. The Queen Ann's Lace looks especially formal dressed up in its winter lace.
ReplyDeleteOh and I really like the colours of your tile floor.
I had to laugh about the leaf-fearing Buster. Dogs can be such goofs.
Thank you Hilary, I was pleased with how the photos came out as I didn't really think about them or plan them. Dear Buster does amuse us :-)
