Oh my word, what a busy week I have had, busy and very nice.
This was my diary
Monday: Bowls Club Christmas Lunch
Tuesday: Craft Club Christmas Lunch
Wednesday: WI Christmas Lunch;
Evening: drinks with village hall committee
Thursday: NHS volunteers "Thank you" buffet lunch. The venue was
beautiful and the food was delicious.
Thursday eve: Chelmsford book club meeting at a member's home,
more nibbles!
Friday morning: setting up our tree for the Christmas Tree Festival
Afternoon: U3a Christmas party. Unfortunately the meagre offering of
nibbles was very disappointing
but the entertainment in the form of Henry VIII telling us about his
life and wives was brilliant.
Next week is very quiet, then I have two more do's the week after.
∼ Be safe and well∼

Sounds like you've been well fed (for the most part) and well entertained this week! And, uh, erm, Henry's codpiece -- is that an octopus tentacle or a pork loin? Either way, I bet it generated a lot of merry comments, lol.
ReplyDeleteI should have weighed myself before and after 😂 Henry had to have the largest codpiece of all! It did raise a few giggles.
DeleteWhat a convivial, entertaining time you've had, and Christmas still to come. 🎅
ReplyDeleteIt was a lovely week but I was very tired by Friday evening!
DeleteYou have been busy and enjoying the Christmas season to the fullest! Henry VIII is brilliant! I'll bet that was an excellent performance.
ReplyDeleteIt was Michelle, he portrayed just how powerful and overwhelming Henry was.
DeleteWhat a wonderful week. So full of positive enjoyment activities.
ReplyDeleteIt was Paula. Thank you for visiting.
DeleteYou are insanely busy and that's good. I think I'd like hearng about Henry!
ReplyDeleteIt is Jeanie, but I'm going to enjoy relaxing this week :-) The real Henry had his subjects quaking in their boots!
