Great walks these last couple of mornings, pretty snow. Buster and I love snow, in fact Buster got quite animated today, usually it's me that wants to run around and play and Buster is like "Stop bugging me, I just want to sniff everything" but today he was running around wanting me to chase him.

Our play fighting was a bit full on
both of us had small amounts of blood around our mouths but we're ok. It's what dogs do.

Nice post, Rufus!
ReplyDeleteThank you John, I do like getting my paws on the computer now and again :-)
DeleteLooks like you had great fun Rufus, Mickey would love having a run with you in all that snow.
ReplyDeleteoooh that would be good, we would have lots of fun, I do like your Mickey x
DeleteAww! Rufus! I'm glad that both of you are fine..
ReplyDeleteThank you Krishna.
DeleteThat playfight certain was rather 'full on' Rufus - take care both of you and be cosy tonight.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rosemary, we will be.
DeleteMy crazy poodle has never seen snow, I wonder what he would do. Such pretty photos!
ReplyDeleteStay warm.
Wren x
I think he would probably hesitate at first then run wildly around in it! It's melting now, thank goodness. x
DeleteWell done, Rufus...wonderful shots, too!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks Mike.
DeleteJust love Rufus and Buster Polly....the snow looks incredible.
ReplyDeleteThank you Suzie. It's starting to thaw now. It is pretty and makes for good photos but I don't like it nowadays.
Delete...what an amazing change in the weather between this post and your last one. Take care!
ReplyDeleteThe snow is thawing now, I hope that's the last we have of it.
DeleteI imagine that with so much snow on the ground, all the interesting smells have been covered up, but maybe not? Maybe a dog's nose is sensitive enough to pick them up all the same?
ReplyDeleteThey do have a powerful sense of smell and I'm pretty sure they can smell through the snow. They can be running along full pelt, suddenly stop and backtrack to something interesting!
DeleteThis is so beautiful! Your snow looks lovely and your dogs -- oh, so darned cute. There's something fun about dogs in the snow. I'm a cat girl but when I see a dog in the snow, I laugh and laugh -- they have such fun!
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right Jeanie, I love to watch them playing in the snow, they just throw themselves around. It's as if they have just discovered it, which is about right as it's so infrequent over here x
