The Canada Geese babies are doing very well
They all went for a swim around the pond
and then the babies decided to go for a walk.
I'm not sure because it happened so quickly,
but I think one of the babies saw off a duck!

DeleteDon't you just love those babies? I haven't seen any goslings this year, despite all our Ditch geese. Maybe I just keep missing them!

DeleteThis was a timely post, Polly, as there are several Canada geese families here on the Nashua River in NH. Over the weekend, I spotted 3 families with anywhere from 2 to 5 goslings and the way they travel in a straight line formation is always impressive as the adults protect the young.

DeleteOh, they're gorgeous, and they've all survived, which is pretty amazing.
