My WI's annual summer outing was to Ongar garden centre
where we enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea.
Mini quiches, sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, and cakes. Most of us couldn't manage it all, we took the cakes home for later!
And afterwards we browsed around the shop

DeleteWhat a lovely place to go for an outing. Did you all make your own way there or did you have transport?
ReplyDeleteThree of us drove and one lady made her own way there.
DeleteEverything in those garden centres always look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI could spend a fortune!
DeleteWow! That looks a lovely outing. The menu is delicious. Wonderful clicks! :) Followed you. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteThank you Megha
DeleteThe shop looks like one of those "everything is gorgeous but there's nothing you actually need" shops. Mind you, I can usually still find something to buy! Did you buy anything?
ReplyDeleteHa, ha, yes spot on. Everywhere I looked I thought "ooh that's lovely" followed by "But i've got that" or "I don't really need it". I bought a birthday card!!
DeleteHi Polly. Sounds like a lovely time had by all PLUS, cake for home. Winner winner.
