Tulips

If, like me, you have a hankering to get out and about, or you're dreaming of a holiday; want to climb a mountain or hike a scenic route; click here for some inspiration for when the lockdowns end.

When I took these tulips out of their wrapping and put them in the vase I was disappointed
with the way they drooped but thought that once they had had a drink they would perk up.

They didn't, but I think they look nice, almost artistic :-) and I love the colours.
I've applied different colour schemes to each one just for the fun of it really :-)

I hope they make you smile, and maybe, if you need it, cheer you up a bit.

Be safe and well ~

  1. They did and for that I thank you. It would be nice to know when this is going to be all over so that we can plan a trip but it will be what it will be. Lots to look forward to...eventually! Take care and stay safe.

  2. I agree with you -- the DO look artistic. Of course, part of that is your beautiful setting and the lighting and the wonderful colors of the tulips. But who cares! I'd kill for fresh tulips right now!

  3. I think the tulips are lovely, even if they're a bit droopy. There's something very uplifting about tulips.

    1. You're right Nick. I love all flowers but there is something special about tulips, and daffodils.

    1. When I was a little girl I had a pet rabbit, he used to eat my mum's pansies. She never swore but came close to it with him!

  6. Those are lovely tulips! Like Karen, above, I can't really have flowers in the house or kitty Vizzini will eat them. Sigh. Cats!
